Hi, I travel around South East Asia reguarly . I don’t know if you have any particular places in mind that you want to go, but if you are interested in areas like Singapore, Malaysia, Phillipines, Thailiand, Indonesia, Macau etc….. check out the website of “Air Asia”. They are owned by Malaysian Airlines, and seem to be very professional and safe. I have flown from Kuala Lumpar (Malaysia) to Singapore for US + tax and K.L to Manila for + tax. They also fly to Beijing and Shanghai. It’s a budget airline, so you have to purchase food and drink onboard if you want them (no freebies), but the flights are short and the aircraft very good. I am not aware of Japan having budget airlines unfortunately, I know China does, but I recommend researching their safety history if you are considering booking a flight with them.
